Leopoldo crea espacio verde

The Decorative Arts Museum in Barcelona has included the Leopoldo City Garden in its permanent collection of Contemporary Design. In Autumn 2006 it was presented in an exhibition along with the Museum’s latest acquisitions.

The Congress endorsed the pedagogical side of the Leopoldo City Garden as a starting point towards a real environmental education in the city, by encouraging girls and boys to become "environmental volunteers" and gets them to take an active part in the divulging the idea of harmonious and healthy development.

In the Sala Vinçon ten artists were asked to express their vision on city gardening from a Leopoldo proposal.

Profits from the sale of work was converted into gardens for the El Llindar Foundation and the Raval Children’s centre.
